Virtual Terminal enables merchants to process card-not-present transactions for phone or mail orders through our secure, web-based virtual terminal using any computer with an Internet connection. Virtual Terminal replaces traditional credit card authorization terminals.

Merchants save time and reduce transaction costs with this easy to use Internet payment tool that provides real-time processing and authorization speed.

Virtual Terminal is one of three payment types available through our virtual terminal. The other payment types are:

Virtual POS Terminal (Point-of-Sale, credit card swipe for card-present retail transaction processing)
Virtual EFT Terminal (EFT payment processing)

NexCommerce's gateway service is the easiest, least expensive way to accept credit card payments. When you signup to accept cards using the NexCommerce technology; there are no additional transaction fees. (Note that the credit card merchant account provider/bank will charge transaction processing fees. Please see merchant account information.)

Once you've obtained your credit card merchant account email info@thompsonmerchant.com for information on setting up your NexCommerce gateway account OR if you're using our bundled service we'll take care of both the merchant account and gateway setup for you.
